Chiang Mai BWO Feb 2026

It's a Wrap!

Our Boys’ Weekend Out! to Chiang Mai just ended a week ago and boy did we have some fun! Although we sadly missed out on the Flower Festival (it was postponed to avoid clashing with Thai elections), we still had a great time with plenty of pool action and amazing food!

The weather in Chiang Mai was great – sunny days with cool mornings. Every day was a great pool day and there was definitely a lot of “au naturel” pool time on this trip! We also discovered a whole new vocabulary of sounds that some of us are capable of making…

The highlight of our excursion activities must have been the Thai cooking class at Mama Noi’s Cooking School! We got a chance to cook 3 dishes for own dinner – a stir-fry, a curry and a soup, plus mango sticky rice and Thai milk tea! Everyone who made Khao Soi (Northern Thai curry noodle) agreed it was the best version of the dish we’ve had – nothing beats cooking it yourself! *Achievement unlocked*

NS Vibes

This trip unexpectedly reminded those of us who’ve been through National Service of our army days – like riding in the back of this mini “3-tonner” to get to the cooking school!

And also – binge-watching Boots on Netflix, which really resonated with those of us with BMT experiences!

But did we “Netflix and Chill”? I’m not telling… except to say there was a healthy amount of discussion about lubrication.

What’s Next?

Our next retreat in April will be our first Art of Touch workshop in Bangkok, in a private villa with indoor heated pool – where we will have intensive solo, pair and group hands-on exercises on:

  • Awakening Sensation & Desire
  • Pleasure Mapping
  • Communicating with Touch
  • Exploring the Edge
  • Oil Massage Exchange
